At Ferchem Misr, we integrate environmental protection into every aspect of our operations, focusing on responsible resource management.

Clean Energy & Emissions Reduction

We have made significant investments to decarbonize our energy use and minimize our carbon footprint:

• Approximately 15 MW of clean electricity is generated via high-efficiency steam turbine systems, covering around 95% of our total electrical consumption.
• A dedicated 1 MW solar power station in Aswan supplements our renewable energy portfolio.
• Annual Impact: We avoid an estimated 60,000–65,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year, equivalent to the carbon absorption benefit of around 3 million trees.

Emissions Monitoring & Environmental Compliance

All our efforts reflect Ferchem’s commitment to responsible fertilizer production and strict adherence to national environmental regulations.

• 95% of production stacks are connected to the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency (EEAA) continuous emissions monitoring system.
• Real-time emissions data is transmitted directly to regulators.
• Continuous monitoring supports transparency, early detection, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
