About Ferchem
Ferchem Misr stands as a powerhouse in the global fertilizer industry. A key part of Egypt’s heritage, and one of the largest and oldest producers in the Middle East and Africa regions.
Founded in 1947, the company’s origins lie in Abu Zaabal Fertilizers & Chemicals, a landmark institution in Egypt’s industrial development.
Over the decades, the company evolved into a unified entity that brings together the strengths of Abu Zaabal Fertilizers, Aswan Fertilizers, and Ferchem for Fertilizers and Chemicals.
Today, Ferchem operates three manufacturing sites, representing 15 production units, and an export network covering South America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
Positioned strategically within a booming national fertilizer industry, Ferchem Misr stands to benefit from rising global demand and Egypt’s ambitions to expand chemical and fertilizer exports.
